Responsibilities, generally, include answering 911 telephone calls; data entry; dispatching police officers & firefighters by two-way radio transmitter & EMS by telephone; processing information from incoming calls; & providing for officer safety.

Must be able to multi-task, (i.e., carry on conversations via telephone, in person & by radio simultaneously.)  Will be working second or third shift & weekends

The Crockett County, Tennessee, Emergency Communications District requests proposals for the design of a new emergency communications center (E-COMM) located in Crockett County, Tennessee.

Proposals must be received at the address below no later than 12:00 p.m., August 29, 2008. Proposals will be considered by the ECD Board of Directors at 8:15 a.m., September 3, 2008, to be held in the Crockett County EMA training room at 168 N. Bells Street, Alamo, Tennessee.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

E-911 PSAP DISPATCH SYSTEM
